Need a quick and easy craft fix? This 15 minute Valentine’s Day wreath is so cute and adorable, no one will believe it came together in only minutes!Looking for some quick, easy and budget friendly Valentine's Day Decor? It Doesn't Get Any Easier (Or CUTER) Than This Simple 15 Minute Valentine's Day Wreath. sunshineandhurricanes.com

I love decorating for all the holidays, yes even Valentine’s Day. Now, I realize not everyone else shares my enthusiasm, but I’m betting I can win you over with this one. I get compliments every year on this wreath and I’ve kept it to myself for a long time how ridiculously easy it was to make. However, I’ve decided it’s time to fess up and share the how to on this Simple 15 Minute Valentines Day Wreath.

Simple 15 Minute Valentine's Day Wreath Supplies

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Valentine’s Day Wreath:

any size Styrofoam Wreath form(it can be straw, styrofoam, etc)

Burlap Ribbon (I chose a chevron one from Hobby Lobby)

Felt Flowers (I grabbed a variety from the dollar spot at Target)

Foam Hearts
(Target dollar spot)

Ribbon for Hanging

burlap scraps

(I’ve noted where I found certain items, but as supplies can change one year to the next, I’ve also included Amazon links for all the items)

I wrapped the burlap around the wreath form until it was fully covered, using straight pins at the beginning and periodically throughout the process. You can use a glue gun if you don’t have pins available and it’ll work just as well. The next step is to place the felt flowers around until you get a design you’re happy with, then attach the flowers with a glue gun or pins. I used some scraps of red burlap, gathered them to the center and stuck the foam hearts on them with the glue gun, & then would some leftover

The next step is to place the felt flowers around until you get a design you’re happy with, then attach the flowers with a glue gun or pins. I used some scraps of red burlap, gathered them to the center and stuck the foam hearts on them with the glue gun, and then wound some leftover pom pom trim around the flowers. Don’t overthink, just place the stuff and go for it!

I love that this all came together so fast and inexpensively! I had everything on hand from previous projects except the felt flowers from Target so my out of pocket was only $3! These would be cute Valentine’s Day gifts for teachers, friends, or neighbors and you could definitely forego the Valentine’s Day theme and create your own felt flowers.

There is a great tutorial with 26 different ways to make felt flowers and felt is so inexpensive, your costs will still be low.

Ever wonder what to say when your child is feeling Ever wonder what to say when your child is feeling left out? A few years ago, I watched from my park bench as a young mother tried to console her sobbing daughter. “I’m sorry, honey. I don’t blame you for being upset.” “I don’t know why they won’t let me be in their group for the talent show. They just said they already had enough people and their routine was done and there wasn’t anything they could do about it. I told them I would make a new one up, but they wouldn’t do it.” I tried to focus on my kindle while occasionally looking for my kids to exit the school door. But as much as I tried not to eavesdrop, I had to admit I was interested to hear how the mom would handle this all-too-common situation of a child feeling left out. “Well, they’re probably just jealous of you honey, because you are such a good gymnast and they aren’t. They probably don’t want you in their group because you’ll show them up,” the mom stated matter-of-factly. “You should do a solo routine. Or maybe one with Chloe.” “You think?” the girl replied, her tears slowing down. “You think they’re just jealous of my tumbling?” “Totally.” Several minutes passed before my girls came out, but the interaction between the mother and daughter stuck with me for a lot longer. Maybe the girls were jealous, or maybe they honestly had their routine finished. To continue reading check the link in bio.
