“Life has just been crazy,” is my default excuse for an array of offenses from forgetting permission slips to overlooked emails. Yet that implies that in some way this is a new phenomenon, rather than the on-going state of my life since, well, forever.  While I hold out hope that I will get it all under control, considering I’m not even sure what “it all” is, that is an unlikely scenario.

As a mother of two young children, a wife, and a part-time writer and consultant, I don’t believe there is such a thing as balance. I believe we often live life on one end of the spectrum or the other. Hence, the name Sunshine and Hurricanes.  In this very common modern existence, I have just come to appreciate anything that makes my life marginally more manageable and thought maybe other people would appreciate my discoveries.
