Start by melting the 1/2 cup of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Once fully melted add the 1/2 cup brown sugar, stir just until combined and place back in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir until you get a thin carmel like substance.
Next add in the four cups of chocolate chex cereal and four cups of corn or rice chex cereal and use a spatula to combine gently.(You don't' want to crush all the cereal!) In a small bowl, combine the 1/2 cup of powdered sugar with the cinnamon. Place the cereal mixture into a ziploc bag along with the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Close the bag and shake gently.
Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper and then spread the cereal mixture across it. Sprinkle on the different types of M&M's as well as the peanuts and white chocolate chips so they are distributed evenly. Let sit 30 minutes to an hour just so it hardens up a bit. Store in a Ziploc or other airtight container.
